The RWH4000H90 is a Buna-N (Nitrile) Wiper Type WH Wiper Seal supplied with a 4 inch inside diameter. This wiper seal removes contaminants on the return stroke to protect downstream sealing elements. The catalog record notes: 8600 Rod Wiper.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs, strong abrasion and tear resistance. It resists hydraulic fluids, many alcohols, and petroleum-based oils. It should not be specified for service in polar solvents or ozone and direct sunlight.
