S70FDA316 is an AS568-316 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.85 in (21.59 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.27 in (32.26 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

It resists weathering, many oxidizing chemicals, and extreme heat and cold. Silicone offers an exceptionally wide service temperature range and flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. The material carries a published service range of -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Exposure to abrasive dynamic service or steam above its rated range will shorten service life.
