S70FDA344 is an AS568-344 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 3.85 in (97.79 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.27 in (108.46 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Silicone is valued for very good compression set resistance across its range, physiological inertness and low toxicity. The compound resists ozone and UV exposure, extreme heat and cold, and dry heat. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. Applications involving hydrocarbon fuels and oils or concentrated acids call for a different compound.
