S70FDA012 is an AS568-012 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.364 in (9.25 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.504 in (12.8 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The compound resists dry heat, many oxidizing chemicals, and ozone and UV exposure. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Silicone is known for excellent electrical insulating properties and an exceptionally wide service temperature range. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where abrasive dynamic service or steam above its rated range are present.

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact, is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Typical settings include food and beverage processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and ovens and heated equipment.
