S70FDA047 is an AS568-047 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.489 in (114.02 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.629 in (117.58 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The compound resists many oxidizing chemicals, ozone and UV exposure, and extreme heat and cold. Silicone is specified for physiological inertness and low toxicity, excellent electrical insulating properties. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where hydrocarbon fuels and oils or abrasive dynamic service are present.
