The S70FDA106 is an AS568-106 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.174 in (4.42 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.38 in (9.65 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The compound resists many oxidizing chemicals, ozone and UV exposure, and extreme heat and cold. Silicone is known for an exceptionally wide service temperature range and very good compression set resistance across its range. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Exposure to steam above its rated range or abrasive dynamic service will shorten service life.
