APG stocks the S70FDA135, an AS568-135 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.925 in (48.9 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.131 in (54.13 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Silicone is specified for excellent electrical insulating properties and very good compression set resistance across its range. This material stands up to dry heat, extreme heat and cold, and weathering. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in steam above its rated range or hydrocarbon fuels and oils.
