The S70FDA150 is an AS568-150 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.862 in (72.69 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.068 in (77.93 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The material holds up against extreme heat and cold, ozone and UV exposure, and weathering. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Silicone is valued for very good compression set resistance across its range and excellent electrical insulating properties. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C).
