S70FDA161 is an AS568-161 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 5.487 in (139.37 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.693 in (144.6 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Expect good resistance to many oxidizing chemicals, ozone and UV exposure, and dry heat. Silicone is valued for very good compression set resistance across its range and an exceptionally wide service temperature range. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. Applications involving concentrated acids or steam above its rated range call for a different compound.
