S70FDA164 is an AS568-164 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 6.237 in (158.42 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.443 in (163.65 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Silicone delivers flexibility that holds at very low temperatures and very good compression set resistance across its range. It resists dry heat, ozone and UV exposure, and extreme heat and cold. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Exposure to abrasive dynamic service or concentrated acids will shorten service life.

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact, is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Typical settings include pharmaceutical manufacturing, electronics and electrical enclosures, and ovens and heated equipment.
