S70FDA165 is an AS568-165 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 6.487 in (164.77 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.693 in (170 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Silicone is valued for excellent electrical insulating properties and flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. The compound resists ozone and UV exposure, weathering, and many oxidizing chemicals. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service.
