The S70FDA171 is an AS568-171 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 7.987 in (202.87 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.193 in (208.1 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

It resists extreme heat and cold, dry heat, and many oxidizing chemicals. Silicone is widely chosen for excellent electrical insulating properties and very good compression set resistance across its range.
