The S70FDA176 is an AS568-176 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 9.237 in (234.62 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.443 in (239.85 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Silicone delivers flexibility that holds at very low temperatures and an exceptionally wide service temperature range. The compound resists extreme heat and cold, dry heat, and many oxidizing chemicals. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where concentrated acids or hydrocarbon fuels and oils are present.
