The S70FDA211 is an AS568-211 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.796 in (20.22 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.074 in (27.28 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Silicone is valued for excellent electrical insulating properties, physiological inertness and low toxicity. It resists dry heat, weathering, and extreme heat and cold. The material carries a published service range of -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C).
