The S70FDA271 is an AS568-271 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 9.234 in (234.54 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.512 in (241.6 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Silicone is specified here for flexibility that holds at very low temperatures, physiological inertness and low toxicity. The material holds up against extreme heat and cold, dry heat, and weathering. The material carries a published service range of -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C).
