The S70FDA272 is an AS568-272 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 9.484 in (240.89 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.762 in (247.95 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Silicone is specified here for very good compression set resistance across its range, physiological inertness and low toxicity. The compound resists extreme heat and cold, weathering, and dry heat. The material carries a published service range of -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C).
