S70FDA362 is an AS568-362 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 6.225 in (158.12 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.645 in (168.78 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

This material stands up to ozone and UV exposure, extreme heat and cold, and many oxidizing chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Silicone is specified for physiological inertness and low toxicity, very good compression set resistance across its range.
