The S70FDA378 is an AS568-378 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 10.475 in (266.07 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.895 in (276.73 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, Silicone is known for very good compression set resistance across its range, physiological inertness and low toxicity. Expect good resistance to dry heat, extreme heat and cold, and ozone and UV exposure. The material carries a published service range of -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in abrasive dynamic service or hydrocarbon fuels and oils.
