-440 RED SILICONE 70D FDA O-RING

S70FDA440 is an AS568-440 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 6.725 in (170.82 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.275 in (184.79 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Silicone is widely chosen for excellent electrical insulating properties and flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. Expect good resistance to dry heat, ozone and UV exposure, and extreme heat and cold. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where concentrated acids or steam above its rated range are present.
