-024 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

APG stocks the S70MD024, an AS568-024 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.114 in (28.3 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.254 in (31.85 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The material holds up against many oxidizing chemicals, ozone and UV exposure, and weathering. Silicone offers an exceptionally wide service temperature range, physiological inertness and low toxicity. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). Exposure to abrasive dynamic service or hydrocarbon fuels and oils will shorten service life.
