The S70MD105 is an AS568-105 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.143 in (3.63 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.349 in (8.86 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The material holds up against ozone and UV exposure, dry heat, and weathering. Silicone is known for very good compression set resistance across its range, physiological inertness and low toxicity. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C).

This item is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Typical settings include food and beverage processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and medical devices.
