-132 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

S70MD132 is an AS568-132 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.737 in (44.12 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.943 in (49.35 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Silicone delivers excellent electrical insulating properties, physiological inertness and low toxicity. This material stands up to many oxidizing chemicals, ozone and UV exposure, and extreme heat and cold. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in concentrated acids or abrasive dynamic service.

This item is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Common environments for this compound include electronics and electrical enclosures, food and beverage processing, and ovens and heated equipment.
