-259 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

Part number S70MD259 is an AS568-259 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 6.234 in (158.34 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.512 in (165.4 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Silicone is specified here for excellent electrical insulating properties and flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. This material stands up to ozone and UV exposure, dry heat, and extreme heat and cold. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service.
