This o-ring is supplied in AS568-263 red Silicone 70 Shore A with an inside diameter of 7.234 in (183.74 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.512 in (190.8 mm), catalogued under part number S70MD263. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Expect good resistance to many oxidizing chemicals, dry heat, and ozone and UV exposure. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Silicone is widely chosen for flexibility that holds at very low temperatures, physiological inertness and low toxicity. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where steam above its rated range or abrasive dynamic service are present.
