APG stocks the S70MD331, an AS568-331 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.225 in (56.52 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.645 in (67.18 mm). An o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

This material stands up to many oxidizing chemicals, weathering, and ozone and UV exposure. Silicone is known for very good compression set resistance across its range and flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C).

This o-ring is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. It sees regular use in electronics and electrical enclosures, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and food and beverage processing.
