-348 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

S70MD348 is an AS568-348 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.35 in (110.49 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.77 in (121.16 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

Silicone is specified for excellent electrical insulating properties and an exceptionally wide service temperature range. Expect good resistance to dry heat, weathering, and many oxidizing chemicals. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where concentrated acids or hydrocarbon fuels and oils are present.

The compound is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. It sees regular use in ovens and heated equipment, medical devices, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
