Part number S70MD006 is an AS568-006 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.114 in (2.9 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.254 in (6.45 mm). An o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

As a material, Silicone delivers flexibility that holds at very low temperatures and very good compression set resistance across its range. Expect good resistance to many oxidizing chemicals, weathering, and dry heat. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in concentrated acids or hydrocarbon fuels and oils.

This item is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across food and beverage processing, medical devices, and ovens and heated equipment.
