Part number S70MD015 is an AS568-015 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.551 in (14 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.691 in (17.55 mm). An o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

The compound resists weathering, dry heat, and ozone and UV exposure. Silicone is valued for an exceptionally wide service temperature range and flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Exposure to steam above its rated range or concentrated acids will shorten service life.
