-111 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

S70MD111 is an AS568-111 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.424 in (10.77 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.63 in (16 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Silicone is specified for flexibility that holds at very low temperatures and an exceptionally wide service temperature range. The material holds up against extreme heat and cold, dry heat, and ozone and UV exposure. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in concentrated acids or steam above its rated range.

This item is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. It sees regular use in food and beverage processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and sanitary process lines.
