-115 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

The S70MD115 is an AS568-115 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.674 in (17.12 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.88 in (22.35 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

This material stands up to extreme heat and cold, weathering, and dry heat. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Silicone delivers physiological inertness and low toxicity, excellent electrical insulating properties. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). Applications involving abrasive dynamic service or hydrocarbon fuels and oils call for a different compound.

This o-ring is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. It sees regular use in pharmaceutical manufacturing, electronics and electrical enclosures, and ovens and heated equipment.
