APG stocks the S70MD119, an AS568-119 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.924 in (23.47 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.13 in (28.7 mm). An o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

As a material, Silicone is specified for physiological inertness and low toxicity, flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. Expect good resistance to ozone and UV exposure, many oxidizing chemicals, and weathering. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). Applications involving concentrated acids or abrasive dynamic service call for a different compound.
