-123 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-123 red Silicone 70 Shore A with an inside diameter of 1.174 in (29.82 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.38 in (35.05 mm), catalogued under part number S70MD123. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Silicone offers very good compression set resistance across its range and an exceptionally wide service temperature range. The material holds up against many oxidizing chemicals, dry heat, and extreme heat and cold. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in abrasive dynamic service or concentrated acids.

This o-ring is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. It sees regular use in sanitary process lines, electronics and electrical enclosures, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
