S70MD127 is an AS568-127 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.424 in (36.17 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.63 in (41.4 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Silicone is specified here for exceptionally wide service temperature range and flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. The compound resists weathering, many oxidizing chemicals, and extreme heat and cold. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C).
