APG stocks the S70MD205, an AS568-205 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.421 in (10.69 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.699 in (17.75 mm). An o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

Silicone offers physiological inertness and low toxicity, flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. The material holds up against many oxidizing chemicals, dry heat, and ozone and UV exposure. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Exposure to steam above its rated range or abrasive dynamic service will shorten service life.
