Part number S70MD211 is an AS568-211 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.796 in (20.22 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.074 in (27.28 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Silicone is specified for very good compression set resistance across its range and excellent electrical insulating properties. This material stands up to dry heat, many oxidizing chemicals, and extreme heat and cold. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C).
