-227 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

The S70MD227 is an AS568-227 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.109 in (53.57 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.387 in (60.63 mm). This o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

It resists ozone and UV exposure, weathering, and extreme heat and cold. Silicone is specified for very good compression set resistance across its range and an exceptionally wide service temperature range. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where steam above its rated range or concentrated acids are present.

This item is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. It sees regular use in electronics and electrical enclosures, ovens and heated equipment, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
