S70MD253 is an AS568-253 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 5.359 in (136.12 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.637 in (143.18 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

This material stands up to many oxidizing chemicals, weathering, and extreme heat and cold. Silicone is valued for physiological inertness and low toxicity, an exceptionally wide service temperature range. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C).
