-270 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

Part number S70MD270 is an AS568-270 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 8.984 in (228.19 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.262 in (235.25 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The material holds up against weathering, many oxidizing chemicals, and ozone and UV exposure. Silicone is specified for physiological inertness and low toxicity, very good compression set resistance across its range. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C).
