-006 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-006 red Silicone 70 Shore A with an inside diameter of 0.114 in (2.9 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.254 in (6.45 mm), catalogued under part number S70006. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Silicone is specified here for exceptionally wide service temperature range and excellent electrical insulating properties. This material stands up to many oxidizing chemicals, dry heat, and weathering. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C).
