-114 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

Part number S70114 is an AS568-114 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.612 in (15.54 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.818 in (20.78 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Silicone is specified here for excellent electrical insulating properties and exceptionally wide service temperature range. This material stands up to many oxidizing chemicals, ozone and UV exposure, and weathering. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in concentrated acids or abrasive dynamic service.
