-162 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

The S70162 is an AS568-162 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 5.737 in (145.72 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.943 in (150.95 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The material holds up against weathering, dry heat, and ozone and UV exposure. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Silicone is widely chosen for excellent electrical insulating properties and flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Exposure to hydrocarbon fuels and oils or abrasive dynamic service will shorten service life.
