Ordered as S70176, this is an AS568-176 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 9.237 in (234.62 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.443 in (239.85 mm). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

It resists weathering, dry heat, and many oxidizing chemicals. Silicone offers physiological inertness and low toxicity, flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C).
