Ordered as S70219, this is an AS568-219 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.296 in (32.92 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.574 in (39.98 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Silicone is widely chosen for very good compression set resistance across its range and an exceptionally wide service temperature range. The compound resists extreme heat and cold, many oxidizing chemicals, and ozone and UV exposure. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service.
