-228 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Silicone is widely chosen for excellent electrical insulating properties and flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. Expect good resistance to weathering, dry heat, and extreme heat and cold. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where hydrocarbon fuels and oils or abrasive dynamic service are present.
