S70235 is an AS568-235 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 3.109 in (78.97 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.387 in (86.03 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The compound resists dry heat, many oxidizing chemicals, and extreme heat and cold. Silicone is widely chosen for an exceptionally wide service temperature range, physiological inertness and low toxicity. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where abrasive dynamic service or hydrocarbon fuels and oils are present.
