The S70243 is an AS568-243 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 4.109 in (104.37 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.387 in (111.43 mm). This o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

Silicone is specified here for flexibility that holds at very low temperatures and excellent electrical insulating properties. Expect good resistance to weathering, dry heat, and ozone and UV exposure. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Exposure to abrasive dynamic service or steam above its rated range will shorten service life.
