S70266 is an AS568-266 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 7.984 in (202.79 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.262 in (209.85 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Silicone is valued for an exceptionally wide service temperature range and very good compression set resistance across its range. The material holds up against ozone and UV exposure, extreme heat and cold, and weathering. The material carries a published service range of -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C).
