-270 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

Ordered as S70270, this is an AS568-270 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 8.984 in (228.19 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.262 in (235.25 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Silicone is specified here for flexibility that holds at very low temperatures and excellent electrical insulating properties. The material holds up against extreme heat and cold, many oxidizing chemicals, and ozone and UV exposure. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service.
