-282 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

The S70282 is an AS568-282 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 15.955 in (405.26 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 16.233 in (412.32 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, Silicone is widely chosen for physiological inertness and low toxicity, excellent electrical insulating properties. The compound resists dry heat, many oxidizing chemicals, and ozone and UV exposure. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where hydrocarbon fuels and oils or concentrated acids are present.
