-324 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

The S70324 is an AS568-324 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.35 in (34.29 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.77 in (44.96 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Silicone is specified here for excellent electrical insulating properties and exceptionally wide service temperature range. This material stands up to weathering, ozone and UV exposure, and dry heat. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in concentrated acids or hydrocarbon fuels and oils.

It sees regular use in ovens and heated equipment, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and medical devices.
